Note: You won't see space in this much color, this was done with a camera. It's an example to show you the difference of a rich field telescopein terms ofwide angle.
The SkyWatcher 120mm AZ3 Refractor Telescope is an excellent choice for both beginners and experienced astronomers. This high-quality refractor telescope provides clear and detailed views of celestial objects, making it ideal for lunar and planetary observations as well as bright deep-sky objects. The robust AZ3 alt-azimuth mount offers easy maneuverability and stability, ensuring a smooth and enjoyable stargazing experience.
Designed to deliver crisp and clear images at a reasonable price, this telescope is perfect as a beginner's first telescope or as a portable option for more advanced observers. Its large 120mm aperture gathers more light, providing better views of star fields, clusters, nebulae, galaxies, planets, and the Moon. With appropriate filtering or projection, it can also be used to observe the Sun. Additionally, it serves as a fine terrestrial telescope when mounted on an alt-azimuth mount or a photographic tripod.
The SkyWatcher 120mm AZ3 Refractor Telescope is easy to transport, weighing about 3 kg (6.5 lbs) and with a compressed length of approximately 50 cm (21.7 inches). Its low-maintenance, enclosed optics come fully collimated from the factory, ensuring a quick and easy setup.
